James Bay has just debuted the music video for his acclaimed new single “Wild Love,” whichco-stars theStranger Things star Natalia Dyer.Premiering with a stateside reveal on Good Morning America, the video begins with a closeup of Bay and follows him through a crowded dance floor, where he first sees Dyerand the two lock eyes. Released on February 8th, “Wild Love” has already reached 4 million Spotify streams and counting in addition to racking up 3/4 million YouTube views for the initial lyric video. Across the globe it has earned widespread critical acclaim from NME,Forbes, Harpers Bazaar, Time, GQ,Rolling Stone, People, Clash, Billboard, and more.
After teasing fans for months online, “Wild Love” marks Bay’s first new music since his internationally acclaimed, multi-million selling, BRIT and Ivor Novello-winning, triple GRAMMY® nominated debut album, Chaos & The Calm (2015). The song premiered on Radio 1’s Annie Mac Show as her “Hottest Record In The World.” Composed in East London’s Baltic Studios, Bay co-wrote and co-produced the track with longtime friend and collaborator Jon Green and broughtPaul Epworth [Adele, Florence and The Machine] onboard to add final production elements.
Bay has confirmed UK festival performances this summer at Isle of Wight and TRNSMT, and recently announced details for an intimate North American headline tour and one-off London show. Tickets for the London show sold out within a couple of minutes of going on sale on Friday.
