Ruth Koleva Releases Groovy New Single

Today, Bulgarian singer-songwriter Ruth Koleva announced her sophomore album Confidence. Truth set for release on 3/30. She’s also shared a new single “I Don’t Know Why” with BlackBook – a highly evocative track that grooves like vintage Jamiroquai or Brand New Heavies. Listen here.

Featuring Ron Avant (Anderson .Paak) on keys, Jameel Bruuner (The Internet) on synths, and Gene Coye (Flying Lotus) on drums, Confidence. Truth features the work of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and was produced by Gueorgiu Linev (Kan Wakan). A deeply personal collection of songs rooted in soul and jazz, the album effortlessly shifts from melancholic studio confessions to epic, euphoric anthems.
