Wrapping up our premiere Thursday, we are heading back to the hey days of Emo and Alternative music back when the likes of Taking Back Sunday and Simple Plan used to rule the charts as we team up with Treading Paper for the premiere of his nostalgic new single for “Thanks For The Memories.”
Treading Paper is the solo project of Michael David Miller from Dayton, Ohio. Influenced by a mixture of punk and indie bands like Thrice, Manchester Orchestra, Bouncing Souls, Operation Ivy, and more. Michael started playing music early on in his life starting with drums. In High school he decided to explore his love for Punk Rock by starting a band with good friend Alex Boeckman. They went on to start Conflict Theory and Michael switched to Guitar and Lead Vocalist and had Logan Mckenzie replace him on Drums. They went on to play shows and record music for about 2 ½ years. After the band broke up Michael started the early stages of what would become Treading Paper writing songs based off Life experiences. Currently unveiling his new record, “Comfort Zones,” the single “Thanks for the Memories,” is a tasty treat for your ears.
