Alternative pop duo Glass Mansions are set for their first release of 2018 with a brand-new music video for their single “Just Friends”. It’s a raw and sassy song about flirting with the enemy and the video allows the viewer to delve deeper into the personal demons that lurk beneath. Watch here.
The visual was filmed in the basement of the University of South Carolina’s rumored-to-be-haunted library, a fitting match to the video’s dark vibe. We snatch frantically between monochrome close-ups and hazily following singer Jayna Doyle through a strobing underworld where the libraries bookshelves become claustrophobic tunnels in another world.
Jayna’s vocal hook appears to mirror the dynamic of the video as she impassionately declares;
“Cause everything follows
I’m not weak when my heart shows
Everything follows me, yea…”
Fans should stay tuned for a spring tour announcement any day now.
