RAPPER YURI JONESS RELEASES NEW TRACK “SAME SHIT”

Columbia Records artist Yuri Joness, has released his new track “Same Shit,” produced by BirdieBands whose beats inspired the rising rapper’s breakout viral hit “Same Dude.”  The irreverent “Same Shit” continues Yuri’s infectious streak (the addictive “Same Dude” has totaled 13.5 million streams to-date) as the rapper updates us about everyday life in the aftermath of his breakthrough viral success.

Says Yuri: “The song is just me thinking out loud.  Even with all that’s happened, I still remained the same person mentally. Still the same person doing the ‘same shit.’ Still copping Arizonas and Backwoods at the same gas station; still around the same circle of friends ‘n all.  This is probably my favorite song that I have out right now, you can just feel the vibe.  I can’t wait for more success to come.”

“Same Shit” premiered earlier today on XXL; see the write up HERE.

Other songs the Long Island based rapper has released include “Everybody Be Like,” “Facey,” and “G-Star & Bape.”  The resourceful rapper first gained traction in 2016 when his independently released “Same Dude” was embraced by some preteen fans who uploaded a video of themselves rapping along to the catchy track in their Aunt’s car.  The song became a Facebook and Instagram sensation, and those fans were later featured in the official video for “Same Dude” as well as the “Facey” video.
