Fresh from Terry Edwards’ role as musical director for the Irish National Concert Hall’s star-studded celebration of Shane MacGowan’s 60th birthday, the Near Jazz Experience return to live activity with a series of New Year gigs.

The shows include a gig at London’s Roundhouse supporting fast-rising star Nadine Shah – with whom Terry has also been performing – and a very special Egg Saturday* show at legendary London pub, The Three Kings in Clerkenwell.

Having released their debut album Afloat on Sartorial Records in September, the band rush-released their version of the classic carol ‘We Three Kings’ just before Christmas. In case you missed it, you can watch the video here…

*Traditionally the Saturday before Shrove Tuesday, Egg Saturday is the day when all remaining eggs are consumed before Lent.
