PREMIERE: Nico Lit Releases New Single “Give It To Ya”

Kicking off our premiere week, we are pumping up the first day of the week with the incredible track by Nico Lit titled “Give It To Ya.”

At a time when the music industry has steadily begun to diversify before our eyes, the industry has seen artists who would have previously been marginalized hit the mainstream and find great success. Moreover, the importance of creative efforts to produce new and diverse work has taken new precedence. Native American artist NicoLit has worked at making music since his high school days.  Recently, he has found his lane in a dance, tropical house niche, but the journey to find his sound certainly had its hurdles.

Hailing from Detroit, NicoLit originally performed and produced under the name N.I.C. Throughout high school and college, NicoLit tirelessly worked on his craft and jumped on every opportunity to perform that he could. After getting offered an opportunity to work on the 2014 “Vans Warped Tour,” he ran into some trouble with drugs and ended up incarcerated. However, after doing his time, he returned back to Traverse City and threw himself back into the most important thing to him, music. Continually performing live shows and writing music, Nico worked endlessly to make up for lost time.

After his first EP did not sit quite right with him, NicoLit found the direction he wanted to go, changed his name, and has not looked back since. The beats and lyrics in “Give It 2 You” embodies dancing at the clubs and letting loose with a beautiful woman. Echoing the chorus lyrics, “I wanna give it 2 ya,” NicoLit does not seem to be losing steam anytime soon, and neither will the hips of any listener.
