After an incredible 2017 with the launch of ‘Weightless’and being tipped as part of Huw Stephens’ ‘Alternative Tips for 2018, as well as being backed by Communion Music (Catfish and the Bottlemen, James Bay, Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Howard and Jack Garratt), Adam French is bursting into the new year with the visuals for ‘My Addiction’, from Adam’s Weightless EP. Switching from enclosed, almost claustrophobic spaces to wide open landscapes, the video is a disorienting display of the dark scopes of fixation and dependence. WATCH HERE.
Adam details, “My Addiction’ is a song about temptation and withdrawal. Often raw emotion is too powerful to ignore and at some point you have to come to terms with the inevitable, whether right or wrong. Such is life.”
Self-taught multi-instrumentalist Adam French is a creator of rich songs, full of depth, honesty and a cinematic quality. New EP Weightless produced by Rich Cooper (Mystery Jets, Lucy Rose, Billie Marten, Tom Odell) is a beautiful, intimate collection of exemplary tracks…
Songs and song-writing have always been a constant companion in Adam’s life. Growing up in Congleton in the North West (between Manchester & Stoke) Adam cut his teeth on the local gig circuit, before the opportunities of the capital lured him to London where he now lives.
Adam recently supported Now Now at London’s Omeara, Rostam at the Courtyard Theatre and also joined Jake Bugg’s solo acoustic tour for some dates.
2018 starts with a sold-out headline show in London, followed by a second headline show in Manchester. More to follow!
