London based artist, Charlotte Turnbull, just dropped her new single, “Go Along With It.” Produced by Adian Coker, the track showcases Charlotte’s vocal range and delicate ear for melody. A brand new artist with an abundance of potential, Charlotte’s music showcases depth and maturity far beyond her young age. As she prepares the release of her next project, we’re excited to watch her grow.
South London has been hailed the ‘hub for amazing talent’ as proven over recent years with some exciting new artists gracing the music scene. This notion can now be applied to the South of England – Surrey to be exact which is home to 21 year old Charlotte Turnbull . Charlotte’s early musical influences derived from her parents who spent most of their spare time listening to either the eclectic sounds of UK Garage music or the rebellious sounds of Rock. As she grew into her teens her musical tastes leaned towards that of a Rhythm and Blues sound – taking inspiration from 90’s musicians such as; Aaliyah, Left Eye and SWV. It was Charlotte’s introverted tendencies that lead her to become quite a recluse drawing to the end of her secondary school years which ultimately played in her favour as it meant that she spent the majority of her time perfecting her craft – singing and playing the guitar. Last year, Charlotte released her debut EP “Making My Way” which received good reviews and one of the songs “Share My Feelings ” was featured on Spotify’s “new music friday” playlist.
