ANDERSON EAST UNVEILS NEW “GIRLFRIEND” MUSIC VIDEO

The official music video for Anderson East’s new song, “Girlfriend,” is premiering today. Watch HERE. Written by East, Dave Cobb, Aaron Raitiere and Avicii, “Girlfriend” is the third song unveiled from East’s highly anticipated new album, Encore, which will be released next Friday, January 12 on Low Country Sound/Elektra Records and is currently available for pre-order. Each digital pre-order comes with an immediate download of “Girlfriend” as well as the #1 single “All On My Mind” and the album track, “King For A Day.”

Already receiving widespread acclaim, “All On My Mind” recently reached #1 at Triple A radio (both BDS and mediabase). Written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Anderson East and Aaron Raitiere, “All On My Mind” is East’s first single to reach #1. In celebration of the new album, East will embark on his largest headline tour to date, “Encore World Tour 2018.” The extensive run will span throughout next year including two sold-out shows at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley as well as stops at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom (sold-out) and Music Hall of Williamsburg, Atlanta’s Terminal West, L.A.’s El Rey Theatre, San Francisco’s The Fillmore and D.C.’s 9:30 Club. Newly added dates include stops at Charlotte’s The Underground, Knoxville’s Bijou Theater, Louisville’s Headliner’s Music Hall and Chicago’s Thalia Hall among many others. Encore was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb and recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio along with additional production at House of Blues and Farmland Studio. The album features eleven songs, including “All On My Mind,” “King For A Day” and “Girlfriend” as well as renditions of songs by Ted Hawkins and Willie Nelson.
