Little Hustle Share “Wipe That Face Off Your Head”

NYC’s Little Hustle have shared their new single “Wipe That Face Off Your Head” which premiered on BlackBook today. Listen here. The group builds a nervous tension that explodes into post-punk aggression as the song tackles the feelings of a job you can’t wait to escape, the company of people who misrepresent themselves, and the desire to transcend both. The title is a reference to Parker Posey’s character in Dazed and Confused.

The group recently released a mesmerizing video for “Hall of Gems” which finds front-woman Rebecca Keith spiraling in a darkened room and performing the song in a storm of golden flakes. The single blends indie rock, shoegaze guitars, buzzing synths, and an impassioned vocal melody to create a contemporary anthem with a classic alternative feel.

“Hall of Gems” and “Wipe That Face Off Your Head” are both taken from Little Hustle’s forthcoming debut album Notepasser due out in 2018.
