Million Miles Releases New Video “Love Like Yours”

Million Miles is the project of Franco British soul-singer Sophie Baudry. Following the release of three singles, the first of which, “Ice Cream & Cigarettes,” shot to the top of the US Spotify Viral Chart as well as her debut EP Berry Hill, Million Miles unveils new video “Love Like Yours.” Watch here.

Million Miles has released three music videos, constructing a creative and captivating visual world  noted in their premiere of “Cant Get Around a Broken Heart,” “The video manages to evoke her characteristic mix of blues and pop, with the recurring contrast of an idyllic afternoon outside with more melancholy visuals.”

Baudry says of today’s release, “We shot this video at home on a rainy day. I filmed footage on a trip to LA and loved projecting it on the wall at home when I was writing or recording, it’s really quite inspiring. The song has always been a favourite of mine as lyrically its quite personal and really reminiscent of a specific time in my life, so I wanted to keep that feeling throughout the video, keeping everything really intimate and what’s more intimate than home.”

Sophie Baudry was raised in Paris and lives in London, but trained at Boston’s famed Berklee College of Music. After returning to London, Baudry couldn’t deny a pull toward American Soul music, specifically the evocative voices of Ray Charles and Bill Withers. The influences are audible in Baudry’s signature voice, amiable and melancholy all at once. She set off for the U.S. to look for inspiration and to write and record in Nashville, TN and after a chance meeting, entered the studio with songwriters/producers Robin Eaton and Paul Ebersold.
