Following on from the release of single and music video Stay, Ohio based psychedelic pop quartet Captain Kidd return with Wild, another groovy yet chilled out composition in which their flair for melody and shining production is displayed. Listen here

Led by a calming beat, humming bassline and relaxed vocalisations, Wild “tackles the ongoing struggle of moving on from someone. You know it’s worthless to keep trying, but you keep wanting to go back.” In regards to the making of the track the band also state “’Wild‘ encompasses our growth as a band over the past 4-plus years. We self-produced and recorded the track entirely ourselves, which was a scary but rewarding process. Ryan Gilligan, our mixing engineer, and Metropolis Mastering House helped bring the song to life.”

The track is another to be released from the group’s forthcoming debut full length album, scheduled for a date in Spring 2018. Until then Captain Kidd have another excellent single to their name and provide added reason for your attention as the new year nears its end.

Wild is self-released on 8^th December and will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms.
