Cones Unveil New “First Time” Video

LA’s Cones unveiled the video for their new single “First Time” today; “First Time” is the duo’s third video featuring hand-drawn animations by frontman Jonathan Rosen and the first to combine his art with live 8mm footage, chosen to evoke a nostalgic feeling that matches the song. Rosen says, It’s an innocent little bubblegum track about a kid falling in love for the first time. Vocally and lyrically I wanted it to feel sort of naive, like a teenager writing a journal entry on the spot.” Pigeons & Planes premiered the video today, saying. “The duo brings life to their endlessly catchy new single with an impressive visual.” WATCH “FIRST TIME” HERE

“First Time” is out now via Dangerbird Records’ Microdose monthly singles series. Cones will play their last show on the year this Thursday, December 7 at LA’s Moroccan Lounge with Midnight Sister.
