Multi-Platinum Recording Artist Virginia To Vegas Set To Hit The Road In 2018

Multi-Platinum recording artist Virginia To Vegas is set to hit the road in 2018, bringing his unique blend of electro-pop to cities across Ontario, including stops in St. Catharines, London, Ottawa and more. With over 30 million streams to date and rapidly climbing, Virginia To Vegas (aka Derik Baker), will wrap up 2017 with the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on December 9th, joining a lineup that includes Post Malone, Cardi B, The Backstreet Boys, Fergie, Kelly Clarkson and more.

Virginia To Vegas’ 2016 release “Utopian” (Wax Records/Universal Music Group Worldwide) spawned the Platinum certified singles “We Are Stars” (ft. Alyssa Reid) and “Lights Out”. The Gold-certified Top 10 hit “Selfish” was released this past summer and has already garnered more than 8 million streams to date, putting it on pace to become another Platinum hit for the rising star. Virginia To Vegas’ current single “Emotions” dropped on November 8th and in a few short weeks has garnered over 300k streams on Spotify alone.

Virginia To Vegas spent much of the past year on tour, kicking it off with a successful run of western Canadian dates as direct support for Marianas Trench and Shawn Hook before heading out on his own headlining “Utopian Tour” throughout Ontario and Quebec. He has performed at all four iHeartRadio festival dates across the country including WestFest in Calgary and BeachBall at Vancouver’s PNE, and was direct support to Hook at Toronto’s Canadian National Exhibition this past August. No stranger to life on the road, the past couple of years have seen Virginia To Vegas travel the continent, film music videos in Las Vegas and New York, share arena stages with some of the biggest headliners in the world.
