Dashboard Confessional has announced details of a U.S. headline tour which will herald the release of the band’s long-awaited new LP, CROOKED SHADOWS.  The tour is set to get underway March 20th in Houston, TX and will include stops at New York City’s Brooklyn Steel (3/29) and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium (4/21).  Featuring special guests Beach Slang, presale tickets will be available beginning Tuesday, December 5th at 10:00AM CST, with an additional AT&T presale beginning that same day at 10:00AM local time.  Spotify, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Citi Bank will all be offering presale tickets on Wednesday, December 6th with all remaining tickets going on sale to the general public at 10:00AM local time on Friday, December 8th.  For tickets and more information visit www.dashboardconfessional.com.

Last month Dashboard Confessional revealed that they would be returning with Crooked Shadows, the band’s first new album in over eight years (album art / track listing attached). Set for release February 9th on Fueled By Ramen, Crooked Shadows features the lead track “We Fight,” streaming now on Fueled By Ramen’s Official YouTube channel and at all DSPs.  Rolling Stone declared, “The powerful song explores the fighting spirit and strength found within a community,” with UPROXX hailing, “It’s infectious and manages to hit on what the band does best, pulling huge emotional swells from unexpected sources.”

Produced by Chris Carrabba and Jonathan Clark with co-producer Colin Brittain, Crooked Shadows is the result of a near decade-long period of immense self-examination for Carrabba.  Crooked Shadows explores Carrabba’s reclamation of the simple yet extraordinary moments in life thatlong stood as the unsung heroes of his songwriting, as he reflects on experiences of his own and those closest to him. The result is a deeply cathartic body of work that traverses the complications and vulnerabilities of relationships while scrutinizing the possibility of self-improvement.
