PREMIERE: J & The Rest Release New Single “Call It What You Want”

Reminiscent of classic pop ballads but with a modern soulful twist, “Call It What You want” is a beautiful ode that will tug your heart strings. The track has a ghostly piano repetition accompanied by powerful yet vulnerable vocals and intelligent harmonies that soar and take the listener forward on the dramatic journey. 

“CIWYW is written from the perspective of a guy who’s girl has broken up with him, that finds himself asking: what does her new guy have that he doesn’t. An age old question that more guys can relate to than would like to admit.”

J & The Rest are a four piece band consisting of lead singer, keys, drums and bass. They have already opened for the likes of Robin Thicke, Jess Glynne, Tinie Tempah and Jason Derulo to name a few, as well as appearing last month on SOFAR Sounds. The progression of this band is astounding. Truly one to watch for 2018.
