Celebrate The Holidays With AMC’S Movie Marathons

Cozy up on the couch and kickoff the holiday season beginning Thanksgiving week with four movie marathon events on AMC featuring Titanic, The Godfather, The Karate Kid and “Hatfields and McCoys.”

AMC’s holiday programming continues on Tuesday, December 12 through Christmas Day, December 25. “The Nights Before Christmas” movie event will feature a variety of holiday films, including Scrooged, A Christmas Carol (1984), This Christmas, Deck the Halls, Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Miracle on 34th Street (1994), White Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas, Santa Claus: The Movie, Prancer, The Nativity Story and Scoot & Kassie’s Christmas Adventure. On Christmas Day, AMC will air a “Christmas with the Duke” marathon, featuring several of John Wayne’s classic films, including The Cowboys (45th Anniversary), El Dorado (50th Anniversary), Rio Bravo, The Sons of Katie Elder, Cahill U.S. Marshal, The Shootist and Big Jake.

AMC’s special holiday programming in November includes:

  • Titanic Wednesday – Wednesday, November 22 at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT, featuring back-to-back airings of the film.

  • “Thanksgiving with The Godfather– Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23) beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT, featuring The Godfather, The Godfather: Part II and The Godfather: Part III.

  • The Karate Kid Friday – Friday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT, featuring The Karate Kid, The Karate Kid Part II and The Karate Kid Part III.

  • “Hatfields & McCoys” Saturday – Saturday, November 25 at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT, featuring “Hatfields & McCoys,” “Hatfields & McCoys: Part 2” and “Hatfields & McCoys: Part 3.”

AMC’s special holiday programming in December includes:

  • AMC Celebrates: Miracle on 34th Street 70th Anniversary – Saturday, December 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and again at 10:15 p.m. ET/PT.

  • AMC Movie Premieres – Wednesday, December 13 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT through Friday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT, featuring movies never-before-seen on AMC, including Ice Age, This Christmas and Ernest Saves Christmas

  • Christmas Movie Marathon – Saturday, December 23 beginning at 6:00 a.m. ET/PT and continuing through Sunday, December 24.  Featuring Scrooged, A Christmas Carol (1984), This Christmas, Deck the Halls, Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Miracle on 34th Street (1994), White Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas, Santa Claus: The Movie, Prancer, The Nativity Story and Scoot & Kassie’s Christmas Adventure.
