Today (November 17) comes “Pop That” by artist PART NATIVE – the latest single from HI DEF YOUTH (HDY), the label owned by FLOSSTRADAMUS. The LA and Florida-based duo PART NATIVE are known for their forward-thinking sound design and intuitive songwriting ability, and have proven themselves with an arsenal of singles and remixes. “Pop That” follows a series of releases via HDY from up-and-comers in the movement, including “Club Sound,” by trap duo GENT & JAWNS in October and hard-hitting trap track “Stronger,” featuring vocals and production from L.A.-based producer YULTRON the month prior.
Since entering the scene in 2016, bass enthusiasts and melodic masterminds PART NATIVE have established a name for themselves in electronic music, by demonstrating their production expertise on a multitude of releases. Highlights include their 2016 remix of Skrillex’s famous collaboration with Rick Ross, “Purple Lamborghini,” a remix of NGHTMRE & LOUDPVCK’s “Click Clack” and string symphony-infused trap track “Inferno” released earlier this year.
