Foster The People has released the official video for their current single “Sit Next To Me” – check it out HERE. The vertical video simulates a real-life Instagram feed, scrolling through nearly 100 posts from Instagram influencers (Fuck Jerry, Overheard LA) and celebrities (Josh Hutcherson, Bella Thorne), and also includes special submissions from Foster the People fans all over the world. The video was directed by Fourclops and Brinton Bryan, and produced by PRETTYBIRD.

Says Fourclops: “It was fun to play with the premise of a music video that hijacks your social feed. Instagram is a major destination for consuming media these days, and it made for an exciting setting for our video.  We asked ourselves, what would it look like if all of the accounts within Instagram become transformed by a song?”

The band recently released a remix bundle for “Sit Next To Me,” which includes a special radio version of the track, an acoustic version and a unique reworked version. Check out all three tracks HERE. “Sit Next To Me,” which is currently approaching Top 15 at Alternative radio, was described as “pure shimmering pop” by The Associated Press and is featured on Foster The People’s latest album Sacred Hearts Club. The band also delivered a solid performance of the song on The Late Late Show with James Corden this summer.

Foster the People just wrapped up a massive tour across North America with a few remaining dates before the end of the year. Please visit for tickets and a full list of upcoming shows.

Sacred Hearts Club is available physically, digitally and on vinyl now. Special packages are available in the band’s merch store.
