In these the days of Donald Trump’s Presidency, it can be hard to find reasons to smile when we are constantly bombarded with his backwards policies and ways of thinking. From his thoughts on immigration to his “plans” for a wall across the border of Mexico to his backwards thinking on women’s rights and healthcare reform, Trump has created a climate of unrest and uncertainty.
Enter Baltimore band Stacked Like Pancakes. The band has taken these ill feelings and turned them into surprisingly upbeat and infectious ska-punk song – a call to action for those of us still willing to fight for what we believe in in the hopes of a better future for our nation.
The track, called “45,” was produced by Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, Ariana Grande, Meg & Dia, Simple Plan, etc.) and animated by Zack White. Its video stars a very orange caricature of Trump himself that is almost scary in its accuracy, and it just premiered on Alternative Press:https://goo.gl/UcfZvo
