PREMIERE: Farewell To Fear Release New Music Video For “Waiting For Sunrise”

Kicking off our Monday premiere, we are pleased to team up with Farewell To Fear who are back with their explosive new music video for their latest single “Waiting For Sunrise.” The video showcases the band doing what they do best, rocking out!

About the song, Mike comments

“One night while I was traveling in Europe, it was 3AM and while I was staring at the hotel ceiling, I was reflecting on life and thinking about how we all get caught in a vicious cycle of daily routines and realizing the longer you are in it, the more of you disappears.

“Waiting for Sunrise” came from knowing that we have the power to make choices to change that cycle- and I couldn’t wait for the sun to come up, I couldn’t stop tossing and turning so I could go about my day and try to make those changes.

It’s a sad state of affairs when you’re in it, but I think it’s something everyone can relate to.”

Farewell To Fear was born out of the huge black hole that mainstream rock radio left during the absence of super rock stars like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. Farewell To Fear revisits that era with big rock riffs, big choruses and big anthems for a new generation of mainstream rockers. With their first full-length album, New Blood, generating an incredible three singles on Sirius XM’s Octane channel, an unheard-of feat for an unknown band as well as landing them at #1 on Amazon’s Hot New Rock Singles chart and #8 on iTunes Rock chart, their debut also earned them direct support from Howard Stern, including the rarest of moments on Stern’s show… airing an entire song as opposed to the normal 20 second snippet he usually shares. That track, “Diamonds” is currently approaching 1 million streams on Spotify.

Originally meeting via mutual friends, the members of Farewell To Fear weren’t looking to form a band, but when a casual jam session revealed the undeniable passion they share for creating music, they knew it wasn’t something to ignore, despite the fact that they lived in completely different states. With vocalist Mike Craig based in Florida but constantly traveling for work, bassist Jeremy Sevens and drummer Jimmy Adams in New Orleans and guitarist/backing vocalist Mojo in Lincoln, Nebraska, they continued to get together whenever Mike was in New Orleans, solidifying their musical bond.

From day one, Farewell To Fear were quick to establish opportunities performing at events that put them in front of a few hundred to over 25,000 people and have opened for a variety of bands including Sevendust, PopEvil and even landed them a coveted slot on Monster Energy’s Welcome to Rockville, sharing the stage with bands including Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach, Nonpoint and many more.

Inspired by the recording process of their most recent EP, Legacy, the band has been writing and recording relentlessly, ultimately allowing them to seamlessly merge their skills and styles together to create heavy rock songs that deliver a strong punch to the gut while staying melodic and delivering impactful lyrics hitting all ranges and octaves.Singer Mike Craig’s lyrical delivery is on point with the band’s motto and name:  To write and perform music with a message to empower people to let go of fear and not let it hold you back, much like the way they live their lives.

Now they are back with their new single, “Waiting for Sunrise” (October 20) and are gearing up for a full-length album in early 2018.Undeniably, Farewell To Fear has a full rock assault planned for early next year!
