Up and coming NYC electro pop singer PLVTINUM has been crushing 2017. Fresh off two originals “What You Want” and “If You’re Gonna Leave”, PLVTINUM returns with his gooiest single yet “London’s Calling”. The bright, lush future indie R&B original glistens with vibrant bouncy synths and soulful summery vocals. “London’s Calling” reminds of gnash, with happy, uplifting lyrics complementing the fun, vibey beat. With a Justin Bieber aesthetic, PLVTINUM is a wonderful addition to the current dance pop craze, undeniably making him one of this year’s shiniest artists to watch.
London’s Calling is a deeply personal song about my own mental health struggles after a long-term relationship came to an abrupt end. I was at my complete lowest and my biploar and suicidal tendencies that I previously been able to control resurfaced. This song was my own therapeutic way to dig myself out of that dark space and I want to be a voice to teens that struggle with mental health themselves. Therefore, 10 per cent of all Spotify proceeds will be donated to the Society For the Prevention Of Teen Suicide.
