Phoenix, AZ label Fervor Records are releasing the newest from Tempe legends Pistoleros today, November 3. The album marks the 25th anniversary of a band who has been through their fair share of label and lineup changes over the years (members of Gin Blossoms,Jayhawks, and Smithereens), but this release sees the reunion of brothers Mark and Lawrence Zubia and original drummer Mark Riggs. Ed Masley of the Arizona Republic said, “it could be my favorite thing they’ve ever done,” and Surviving the Golden Age compared the music to The New York Dolls. Stream here
