Gabriel Garzón-Montano Shares Bombo Fabrika Remix ft. Little Simz Released Today On Stones Throw Records

Today, Brooklyn singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Garzón-Montano shares the “Bombo Fabrika Remix” feat. Little Simz. The track, pulled from the instrumental album of his critically acclaimed debut Jardín, takes on a new dimension with verses from British rapper Little Simz. Gabriel is currently on the last leg of his 2017 world tour with remaining dates in Australia, UK, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and a special New York show on 12/8 at Warsaw. Full date listing below.

Garzón-Montano recently released a mini-documentary featuring the making of Jardín. Recorded with analog guru Henry Hirsch, the mini-doc takes a look into Gabriel’s recording process, highlighting the techniques that made Jardín a sonic stand-out this year. It was the last album to be recorded at Waterfront Studios in Hudson, NY before it closed in 2016.

Dubbed one of the “Best Albums of 2017” by Billboard and Okayplayer, Jardín received accolades from the likes of Pitchfork, NPR, Entertainment Weekly, and saw Gabriel performing on NPR’s Tiny Desk shortly after its release. Exhibiting a compositional craftsmanship, the album confirms Garzón-Montano’s innate pop sensibilities and his indisputable knack for fusing a wide range of classic influences and cutting-edge ideas to create a sound all his own.
