The inimitable masters of Afrobeat/Dancehall and Pop – REGGIE ‘N’ BOLLIE – release brand new track “On the Floor” – an exciting collaboration featuring Dancehall legend, BEENIE MAN, on October 27th

Reggie N Bollie became house hold names in the UK after competing and finishing as runners-up mentored by Cheryl on The X Factor UK series 12 in 2015. After signing with Simon Cowell on his label Syco Music in January 2016 the pair released their smash hit, “New Girl” which peaked at no.5 in the UK iTunes Charts, and number 26 in the Official UK Charts.

Since confirming their split with Syco Music back in January of this year, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie have not disappointed their diverse fanbase by releasing on their own independent label, “THIS IS THE LIFE”” which saw the duo make a bold move and immersing themselves in their roots of Raggae/Dancehall and more urban sound with soca undertones. They followed up with their infectious summer hit “BUMAYE” and most recently they have taken everyone by surprise with “ALL THE WAY UP” featuring Nigerian music legend, 2Face Idibia.

“ON THE FLOOR” will be the lead single to their album titled “UNCOMMON FAVOURS” which will be released in late November or early December. The song features Grammy Award winner and Dancehall King BEENIE MAN. The guys are incredibly excited to bring this exciting new single to their fans. They say:

“This collaboration with Beenie Man is a dream come true for us. He’s been a source of inspiration in our music style and we are so privileged to have had the Legend and Dancehall King Beenie on this track. The track showcases our Ragga dancehall style which embodies the unique sound of our music. We are so looking forward to making a bold statement, as real and authentic artists, with this song!”

2017 has not only been a rollercoaster of recording, starting a fresh new label and releasing new music, authentic to their style and on their own terms; it has also hugely successful year in other ways too. The guys have had the great honour of being appointed as “Ghana Tourism Ambassadors for UK & Europe” and also won the “Best UK Music Artist Award” at the 2017 IARA Awards (International Achievements Recognition Awards).   Exciting times, and this is just the beginning for REGGIE ‘N’ BOLLIE…
