More and more people, including true creators and talented creators, are looking for a way to express and share their talent with others. I’m sure that most of them would like to stand on coveted platforms and receive respectable recognition, but what can we do when this is a privilege that is not always available to everyone? The great fortune of all those anonymous artists is the social networks, YouTube, and sometimes the streaming platforms.
In recent months, I have been exposed to this kind of talents, such as the “Miller Brothers,” who are generally not bad guitarists and singers who created an impressive repertoire of cover songs and decided to film themselves and share on their YouTube channel.
Although there is no unusual deviation from the original performance, their change in an acoustic version, alongside a duet of voices and a solo piece between two acoustic guitars, adds an interesting variety to the original version and a longing for more materials of this type.
The Miller brothers are not the only ones in the scene; I came across two other talented guitarists, one of whom is also a professional singer who goes by the name Gregory who plays and sings alongside a particularly talented guitarist who specializes in lead guitar and goes by the name Or Mishal who founded the YouTube channel that bears the name: Or Mishal & Friends where they Performed famous cover songs and created their interpretation of cover songs, with Gregory responsible for the vocals and rhythm guitar and Mr. Mishal for the solo parts. The idea between an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar makes the idea much more interesting and sexier – (in my opinion).
Believe it or not, I even found an impromptu video of the American band AM Ramblers in which they improvised a bluegrass song in some hallway in an impromptu but incredibly nice way and proved that an impromptu jam session can be held in any space and at any point in time and sound not bad at all.
I could fill the page with more versions I’ve seen, but this can shed light and give you food for thought on expressing your talents and taking the first steps on the road to fame.
If that happens, everyone will already hear about you.
