The 3-track ‘Coup Coup Coup’ EP is the follow-up to mysterious London-based singer, songwriter and producer Sera Eke’s acclaimed debut single ‘The Space Between Us’. Listen here
Demonstrating the true breadth and scope of her sound, the title track draws influence from dancehall, ragga and hip hop, driven along by its rapid, syncopated breakbeats and aggressive, jagged, electronic bursts of pure pop.
The other two tracks are no less impressive, incorporating tribal percussion as well as darker themes and dance and electro elements. Written and produced by Eke herself, the EP was mixed by Brian Eno‘s longstanding guitarist Leo Abrahams who produced the latest album releases by Regina Spektor and Ghostpoet among others.
‘Coup Coup Coup’ is out on 10 November 2017 and will be available across all major online stores and on all streaming platforms.
