East London rapper Ayar returns with a brand new project entitled On The Corner which is out on all digital platforms today. On The Corner is the follow up to Ayar’s 2015 releaseOff The Corner. He explains: “On The Corner is a continuation from my last project titled Off The Corner, its name just captures the idea of me still being on the corner and it coming with some advantages over the years as well as the known disadvantages.”

The 15 track project released today was recorded in his bedroom over a few months. With no features on the project, Ayar explains that this was because the more he recorded, the more he gained momentum and the project was finished before he knew it. Citing influences such as Solange, Rhapsody, Kano, J. Cole, A2 and Nas as well as producers like Young Guru, Just Blaze and The Alchemist for the project, the project encapsulates a range of sounds perfectly accompanying his individual rap style.  Ayar’s aims with this release are for people to enjoy his developed word play and choice of instrumental to lace his rhymes over.
