Following the release of his critically-acclaimed sophomore album The Midnight Sun, Mercury Prize nominee and Twilight Zone aficionado C DUNCAN will be making his first large-scale tour of North America as a special guest to elbow. Kicking off on Nov. 1st at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club and circling around the continent with stops in NYC (Terminal 5 on Nov. 2nd), Toronto (Danforth Music Hall on Nov. 6th), Chicago (Vic Theatre on Nov. 8th), and concluding in LA (The Wiltern on Nov. 16th), C Duncan is excited to bring what PopMatters calls his “deliciously dreamy” music to this side of the Atlantic.
Named after a particularly ‘dark’ episode of the show, this follow-up to his Mercury Prize-nominated 2015 debut Architect carries a loose thematic thread, much like the psychologically warping TV series. “I knew I wanted the album to have more of a theme/thread throughout it which Architect didn’t have,” he continues. “I wanted to capture the atmosphere and create something that is almost an anthology series styled album, in which all the tracks tie together stylistically without being one big conceptual record.”
