Presented by DiskoLab, WYNWOOD FEAR FACTORY–the largest music & Halloween-themed festival in the Southeast region–has announced its daily lineups and has made available single day tickets for its two-day event. Gear up to be spooked, startled and surprised by a helping of Halloween attractions and A-list superstars exclusively for Florida this season.
On Saturday, October 28, the night is headlined by Porter Robinson and Steve Angello, alongside Oliver Heldens, the newly added Andrew Rayel, Cedric Gervais, The M Machine and Bad Royale. DJ Snake and Wiz Khalifa take the lead for Sunday, October 29 along with Big Gigantic, Yellow Claw, Martin Solveig, Drezo and GG Magree. It’s an eclectic group of talent who rarely pass through South Florida coming together under one roof.
Beyond its extensive talent lineup and state-of-the-art-production, WYNWOOD FEAR FACTORY is teaming with a preeminent attractions specialist to create an otherworldly universe. WYNWOOD FEAR FACTORY is raising the bar with 4,000 square feet of scare zones and haunted areas with different creative themes set within the confines of the RC Cola Factory. Upon entering the space, prepare to navigate through the Zombie Containment Zone without becoming a part of the undead yourself.
WYNWOOD FEAR FACTORY was a wildly popular event when it debutedlast year with performers Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Flosstradamus, Adventure Club, Borgore, Benny Benassi and many more. The two-day seasonal extravaganza will take place at the “abandoned” old RC Cola Plant, located in Miami’s Wynwood Art District–the trendiest neighborhood in the city showcasing art galleries, restaurants/nightlife spots and some of the best street art.
Abandoned in the early 1990’s, the RC Cola Plant became a haven for street and graffiti artists. Today, it is an architectural mainstay of the Wynwood Arts District. Revitalized as a prime event space, it signifies the expansion and possibilities of cultural growth, while preserving the character and history of a well-loved monument. It’s been featured in movies including 2Fast2Furious and is currently owned by the Mana Urban Arts Project. All pieces painted there are under the curation of the Bushwick Collective.
Meanwhile, in response to the catastrophes of Hurricane Irma and Maria, WYNWOOD FEAR FACTORY has teamed with Global Empowerment Mission where event organizers will donate 100% of their net proceeds from the event to directly benefit Hurricane Irma and Maria victims. Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 by Miami nightlife icon turned humanitarian Michael Capponi. GEM, alongside experienced aid groups We Do Better, Third Wave Volunteers and BStrong have all joined forces to form a committee called Be Strong Global Better. #BeStrongGlobalBetter‘s current focus is the catastrophic destruction caused by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria and Jose. #BeStrongGlobalBetter is a small team who is changing the game, tackling relief work head on and taking matters into their own hands. The group is now managing three warehouses where aid is being crated, sorted and put on trucks from the entire US and then sent over to the areas most affected by these storms. The group has already collectively sent over 40 planes to Puerto Rico with millions in aid and is now phasing into its next step, sending a large ship with hundreds of containers to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Island and Dominica.
