Falling Ghost Release Debut Single

Manchester based multi-instrumentalist and producer, Falling Ghost is set to release his debut single through Regent Street Records on the 24th of November 2017.

‘Be Careful What You Wish For’, self produced in Manchester and then mastered by John Davies (The XX, Lana Del Rey, Gorillaz), will be available digitally at all the usual major outlets. Hauntingly catchy, the vocals blend beautifully with hypnotic electronic beats and recall the likes of The XX, London Grammar, Radiohead and James Blake.

Falling Ghost, AKA Daniel Sweeney was formerly the singer-songwriter with Manchester outfit Sylvia. Before splitting a couple of years ago, Sylvia recorded two albums and toured extensively across the UK and Europe and achieved national radio play from the BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music.

Since going solo, Sweeney has spent the last twelve months writing, recording and producing the first Falling Ghost album which is entitled ‘Pure O’ and is set for release early next year.

“One of the most promising musicians to emerge on the British music scene” Birmingham Promoters

To coincide with the single release, Falling Ghost will play a hometown show at Fab Cab in Manchester on Sunday the 15th of October. More dates will be announced in the very near future.
