The Fresh & Onlys share new video “Impossible Man” – Live in Brooklyn Oct 15 – ‘Wolf Lie Down’ available on Sinderlyn

The Fresh & Onlys share their new video for single “Impossible Man” from director Ryan Browne. The video parallels the psychedelic pop of the track with it’s sinisterly saccharin, multicolour visuals following a clown on a surreal jaunt through a fairground.  The footage also acknowledges the darker undertones of the song, with stark imagery spliced in between the manic laughter. The Fresh & Onlys’ Tim Cohen tells us, “‘Impossible Man’ came from a song I came up with called “Invisible Man”, based loosely on Ralph Ellison’s sole but legendary novel. In it, I fancied myself figuratively invisible, like Ellison’s protagonist, but realizing it would be construed as either a pure homage to another, expressly literal character or as a literal ghost story, I quickly changed the title to Impossible Man.”

Wolf Lie Down is available now.
