Swedish duo First Aid Kit shares the music video for their fantastic new single “It’s A Shame.” Directed by Mats Udd, “It’s A Shame” takes sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg through a Sliding Doors-like journey through the streets of Stockholm. Johanna’s world couldn’t be sunnier, while Klara’s is anything but, beautifully illustrating the bright yet desperately empty themes of the song.

First Aid Kit says: “We proudly present the video for “It’s A Shame,” directed by our dear friend and longtime collaborator Mats Udd. Inspired by “Sliding Doors” and musicals, watch it to see what happens to us during a nightly walk. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it!”

“It’s A Shame” was recorded in early 2017 and produced by Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, Laura Veirs) in Portland, OR.

In addition to sharing the video for “It’s a Shame,” First Aid Kit has announced a 2018 North American headline tour, kicking off January 24 at the Fox Theatre in Oakland and continuing through a final night at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, with Van William supporting. Tickets for the tour are on sale October 13, 2017.
