Friendship Premiere New Single “Sal”; New Album “Shock Out of Season” Out 11/3 on Orindal Records

Philadelphia’s Friendship, the ambient-folk collective fronted by Dan Wriggins, shared their new single “Sal” today. The track is driven by a tense, unresolved pedal steel figure, reflecting the song’s cynical despondency. Still, the last verse appeals to grace: “When you find yourself bound to someone else, always be generous / Because you will never know what it is you do that makes the difference.” LISTEN “SAL”

“Sal” can be found on Friendship’s forthcoming new album Shock Out of Season, along with the previously released “If You See My Beloved.” The album is out November 3 on Orindal Records and is available for pre-order now.
