HDNET MOVIES Celebrates Clint Eastwood With a Four-Film Line-up Oct. 8

HDNET MOVIES puts the spotlight on four classic films starring one of cinema’s most iconic leading men in The A-List: Clint Eastwood, on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 7pE, with an encore presentation on Tuesday, October 17 at 7pE.

The evening kicks off with Eastwood’s signature role as a cunning gunslinger in the middle of a bitter family feud in Sergio Leone’s groundbreaking 1964 Spaghetti Western classic A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS. Then, Eastwood directs and stars as a wanted man on the run from Union soldiers in the fan-favorite 1976 Civil War Western THE OUTLAW JOSEY WALES at 8:45pE.

The night continues at 11:05pE, with Eastwood and Burt Reynolds as bickering buddies, forced to team up to investigate a murder in the 1984 crime comedy CITY HEAT. The night comes to a close at 12:45aE, with Eastwood as a journalist racing against time to stop an innocent man’s (Isaiah Washington) execution in the 1999 thriller TRUE CRIME, with James Woodsand Denis Leary.
