Hand Drawn Records teams up with TOASTED for a jam-packed music month (Oct.)

Dallas-based independent record label and vinyl record manufacturer, Hand Drawn Records is excited to announce its partnership with local artisan restaurant, TOASTED Coffee + Kitchen. The local label will be partnering with the Lower Greenville establishment this October on its brand new in-house music sessions, as well as the first-annual Lowest Greenville Food and Art Walk. TOASTED Coffee + Kitchen is located at 5420 Ross Ave., Suite 180, Dallas, Texas 75206.

“Our goal is to continue to promote North Texas talent in venues that offer unique experiences,” said John Snodgrass, vice president at Hand Drawn Records.

The Lowest Greenville Food and Art Walk, hosted by Lowest Greenville Collective, will take place at various locations on the block including TOASTED on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will provide live performances from local musicians on the Hand Drawn roster, alongside friends of the label, a Hand Drawn Pressing vinyl pop-up shop, a local visual art sale and an origami workshop. The Oct. 7 lineup will include soulful songstress Remy Reilly, Americana artist Taylor Young, alt-rock band Henry The Archer and Americana band The Half Guided Hearts. The event is free to the public. More information can be found here.

In addition, every Thursday night starting on Thursday, Oct. 5, TOASTED will host its Gin and Jam music series from 7 to 9 p.m. where various local artists will perform original music onstage for attendees. In October, the lineup will include folk singer-songwriter Silas Nello (Oct. 5), folk rocker Sean Russell of Cut Throat Finches (Oct. 12), sentimental rock artist Paco Estrada (Oct. 19) and alt-country artist Jeff Hobbs (Oct. 26). The event is free to the public. More information can be found here.

“TOASTED’s ‘Gin and Jam’ series was created to bring together the community and the best music Dallas has to offer,” said Guillermo Murillo who handles booking and sound at the space.
