The Texas K.G.B. (Kelly Green Band) creates music that represents a unique blend of Americana, classic rock, country, blues and a touch of funk. The band is a quartet made up of Kelly Green on the lead and slide guitar and vocals, Jace on the rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Kody Lee on the drums, saxophone and vocals and Violet Lea on the bass and vocals.
“They are extremely talented songwriters and performers, but more importantly, they are just great people,” said Austin-area Philanthropist Bill Murray. “They get it, and no one works harder at their craft.” Bill and his wife, Sharon, support numerous local charities, often working with local musicians to help raise money. “They put on an incredible show, but beyond that, they jumped headlong into helping us promote our events.”
“I have to pick my jaw up off the floor the every time I experience a Kelly Green guitar solo,” said Black Fret Artist Experience Director Eric Panico. “They’re a solid team who has been through a lot, continuously learning and improving for years. I really believe in this band.”
All songs were written and performed by The Texas K.G.B. and recorded at The Fabulous 512 Studios in Austin, Texas. The album was produced by Omar Vallejo and The Texas K.G.B. and engineered by Omar Vallejo and Kevin Abbenante. Executive producers are J.W. Cadle and Deborah Osgood.
