As the title sort of implies, Sammy’s Cult Nights is a very peculiar band. Fronted by Shane D. Graybill, he’s teaming up with VENTS for the exclusive first look at the new music video for the artsy “Tear Me Down” off his new album Haunted House Party.
About the song, Shane comments:
I’m releasing my next album Haunted House Party on Friday October the 13th and the new video for my single “Tear Me Down” is basically a collage of what I’ve been up-to lately in Nashville. The album is supposed to be a soundtrack to the campy 80’s horror movie in my mind and is definitely influenced by a lot of those great classic horror movies I grew up watching from David Cronenberg, David Lynch, John Carpenter etc. I feel like I’m a very visual type person, and use things I see to influence the sound I create. I’ve been making music for a while now, most recently under my various monikers of Sammy Hale, Night Swim, and Cult Choir but decided to combine all of them and make it one name Sammy’s Cult Nights.
