PREMIERE: Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter Jamie Mathias Releases New Music Video For “Started A Fire”

Jamie Mathias is back with a pretty cinematic video for his latest single “Started A Fire”. The video depict the struggles of a relationship between an army soldier and his girlfriend.

After starting out his career in the music industry performing in bands, Jamie began to learn his craft as a solo artist at the age of 19 deciding that he wanted to take his music in his own individual direction.

His newest record, The Great Escape LP, was a natural process written over the span of the 18 months and Jamie drew upon his own personal experiences in relationships and his struggle working towards becoming a successful artist. Similarly, the recording process was gradual allowing Jamie to perfect the album. The album features 13 tracks of indie pop with an element of hip-hop giving him a distinctive edge, similar to his influences of Jamie T and Plan B.

The 13-track album The Great Escape LP will be available to download and stream from 22nd September on all major media providers, prior to an album launch gig on 29th September at Patterns in Brighton. More information about Jamie Mathias and his upcoming live shows can be found on his social media pages.
