The Russ Liquid Test Present First Offering from World Gone Crazy EP

New Orleans-based trio The Russ Liquid Test today released first single ‘Rise’ from forthcoming World Gone Crazy EP (All Good Records November 3rd). This news comes ahead of the band’s departure on a massive thirty six date US tour with high profile stops in Brooklyn, San Francisco, Atlanta, Grand Rapids and more.

A stand out force in the crossover dance world, The Russ Liquid Test stand amongst the likes of GRiZ, Pretty Lights and Gramatik in their quest to pay homage to classical funk, jazz and electro.

‘Rise’ is only a taste of what’s to come, showing just a sliver of the rest of the record. The single is a slow rolling, iridescent and nostalgic ballad encouraging the inevitable head nod. The Russ Liquid Test’s thumping percussion and sparkling synth work shine throughout.

World Gone Crazy EP is set to release via electro-funk hero GRiZ’s All Good Records. Bridging the gap between live improvisational music and electronic beats, All Good has seen releases from The Floozies, Manic Focus, GRiZMATIK, Sunsquabi, and GRiZ himself.

In GRiZ’s own words, “Russ’s growth as a musician has been incredible. He’s sounding better than ever! Don’t believe me. press play :)”
