UK rapper ShaoDow won last night at the prestigious AIM Awards as the ‘Hardest Working Band or Artist’.
ShaoDow, is a UK hip hop and Grime recording artist carving a distinctively different independent path with the release of his third album which comes with a Japanese Manga comic book of the same name.
His third studio album ‘シャウ道 The Way of Shao’ also featuring Krizz Kaliko, Papoose, Dot Rotten, andGenesis Elijah has already received critical acclaim, and he has single handedly sold over 25,000 copies of his three studio albums to date.
The South-East London artist has opened for legends such as Stormzy, Skepta, Tech N9ne, Wiley and Akala, hehas previously received strong rotation via BBC Introducing Playlist, Radio 1, 1Xtra and Kerrang, plus he has ripped it on Charlie Sloth’s ‘Fire In The Booth’ on BBC 1Xtra as per this video:
The enterprising performer is also the first ever artist to run his own pop-up shop in major shopping centres across the UK selling his popular merchandise and headphone brand through his company, DIY Gang Entertainment.
Now he is officially the hardest working independent artist in the UK!
