Reckless Jacks Release New Single “Right Here Right Now”

After a great start with the release of their debut single ‘Alone’ early in the year, the international indierock 4 piece get set to release 3 brand new singles forming an EP through out the next few months, continuing with this next single ‘Right Here Right Now’. Listen here

After Brit and Grammy awardwinning producer, Jim Lowe (Stereophonics) came on board after seeing something special in the band, they decided he would produce the debut EP at the brand-spanking-new Stereophonics studio in London and see them even co-write. The tracks offer innocence in songwriting with this single opening with a simple soft guitar hook and gentle first verse vocals. Lead singer, Matts coarse and powerful vocals captures the heart and the emotive lyrics and takes you on a journey steeped in melody. The sound is reminiscent of songs from the likes of 90’s acts Starsailor, Travis and even Oasis. Just good old rock and roll.

Reckless Jacks are an international band in every sense of the word, coming together from 4 different European countries having played their first gig in front of a packed house at Paris’ Bus Palladium to a great reception. A stage where the likes of Hozier, Kasabian and Mick Jagger have all performed, and the band are back again this year. After shortly touching down in the UK, lead singer Matt (singer/ guitarist) put an advert for like-minded music creative’s in the city’s music schools to find replies back from Magnus (lead guitar), Cece (bass) and Dan (drums) and the rest (cliché as it is) is history.

After recognising one another’s verve and different blends of cultural backgrounds and influences the boys write simple songs consisting of good lyrics, melodies and catchy chorus’, along with anthemic guitar riffs you’ll be humming for days. Influenced by all sorts including metal (nu-heavy-progressive-power), Korn and Metallica along with techno, punk and rock they produce songs they feel are true to who they are and what they’re like listening to.

The hard working band are busy recording their debut album, planning UK and European shows and finalizing plans for a busy 2018.
