In the past, she has been compared to the likes of Florence Welch and Lily Allen – but this is not anaccurate description of Aradia. She brings something completely fresh, adding depth to a futuristic blend of hardcore electronica, dance and pop music – genres that are usually regarded as throwaway music.
Her latest single ‘CEO’ encompasses the above quirky concoction, documenting her trial and tribulations of‘making it’ in the music industry and also encourages everyone to take the leap into their destiny. The accompanied video sees that spiral-haired diva on the journey fromfiguring out the process of musicproduction to storming into the boardroom, making herself heard in front of music bigwigs!
After dropping out her classical music course at Aaron Copland School of Music, the New Yorker played guitar and sang in a few bands, while working on her synth-driven solo music.
Residing in Los Angeles, Aradia performed regularly while producing her upcoming project, which became the full-length album, ‘Citizen of Earth’. Released in 2014, ‘Citizen of Earth’ generated praises in college radios across the US and in the blogosphere.
Now she’s back with a synth-infused powerpop anthem which can be described as the theme tune for girl power.
