KODIE SHANE TO RELEASE NEW EP BACK FROM THE FUTURE AUGUST 25

One of Atlanta’s freshest, fiercest, and fieriest voices, 18-year-old rapper, vocalist, ingenue, and “Sailing Team” first lady Kodie Shane unleashes her new Back From The Future EP [Epic Records] on Friday August 25, 2017.

Heralding the much-anticipated project’s arrival, Kodie turns up with the single “Level Up. She lives up to the title by delivering tightly wound bars and a high-energy hook over a buoyant beat. She recently shot the song’s cinematic music video down in Kingston, Jamaica. She also debuts the music video on August 25!

Meanwhile, she recently shared the video for her breakout smash “Drip On My Walk,” and it already cracked 100K views in just a couple days’ time. It’s simultaneously climbing at radio.

The hip-hop maverick has quickly become a unanimous critical favorite as well, garnering praise from PitchforkComplexNoiseyPigeons & PlanesBillboardPaperNylonW MagazineNickelodeon MusicMass Appeal, and more. However, The Fader summed her up succinctly in an in-depth profile entitled “Why Kodie Shane Should Be Your New Favorite Rapper.”
