The Night Game Premiere Official Video Directed by Dev Hynes. North American Tour Underway

Today, Los Angeles based outfit The Night Game premiered their first music video for debut single, “The Outfield” on The FADER. “I wanted to portray the lyrical intent of “The Outfield” and the idea of swimming upstream. It was filmed on a fairly gruesome, rainy day to capture fighting against a sea of umbrellas.” The band’s front-man Martin Johnson explains. “Although wet and cold, Devonte and I forged our way through the streets of the city and found our way to the heart of the song.” Watch the Blood Orange (AKADev Hynes)-directed clip HERE.

Fresh off a nineteen-date arena tour supporting John Mayer, the band is currently on the road, playing a string of headline shows throughout North America, with scheduled stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Baltimore, Asbury Park, NJ, Toronto, Detroit and concluding in Chicago on August 26th. Originally hailing from a small town outside of Boston, Massachusetts, The Night Game first entered the musical arena full-steam with their debut single “The Outfield,” OUT NOW. Described as a “future classic” by Noisey, and touted as a potential “hit” by Billboard Magazine, “The Outfield” was co-produced by the band’s front-man and chief lyricist Martin and Grammy award winning Australian producer Francois Tetaz, it also features backing vocals from none other than Grammy Award winning, chart topper Gotye.

Recently the band paid a visit to New York City’s Q104.3’s Out of the Box with Jonathan Clarke to perform a special acoustic performance of their single and chat about the upcoming tour. Watch the performance and interview HERE.

“The Outfield” is available on all digital platforms worldwide.
