ORIION RELEASES ‘LIVE ANOTHER LIE (STUDIO 106 EDIT)’

After releasing debut single, ‘Live Another Lie’ on June 23rd, travelling soul ORIION quickly gained support from Spotify’s Viral New Music Friday and reached a #9 spot on Viral Charts Germany, while simultaneously seeing tastemaker blog support from The Line Of Best Fit, Spindle Magazine and tmrw magazine.

ORIION has now teamed up with the mysterious identity, Studio 106 to merge a slick remix. Merging sounds with ORIION’s finesse of intricate pop hooks and touching lyricism, while combining Studio 106’s knack for crafting chilled house beats, ‘Live Another Lie’ is now destined for club dance-floors with this exciting re-work.

ORIION’s ‘nostalgia pop’ is informed by international wanderlust, the artist’s nomadic reality evident in his music; much of his adult life was spent between LA, NY and home. It was this, along with a formative diet of pop greats – Sade, Prince, Daft Punk and Queen – which shaped his diverse set of influences, spanning several decades.

Currently working on his debut album with Irish/Swedish producer LindahlORIION takes on a storytelling mentality to his work, which sees the production of a concept EP, to be released later this year. Exploring universal struggles of the self, ORIION presents a reflective approach to music, embedded not only in a vision of writing music, but drawing it. Listen here
