Kyle Bent is happy to share a video for his latest single “Just A Little Bit.” With the release of the track Impose noted that “Kyle Bent is definitely an artist to watch out for” and Mass Appeal said, “Pro Era’s Powers Pleasant is on production duties, setting up the the comforting mood with whispery effect, a flimmering melody and relaxed drum work.” Bent told HipHopDX, “the inspiration for the track comes from my desire to continue leveling up and making my life what imagines I want it to be. I hope the song can also inspire other people to change their lives and level up as well.” Today’s video was directed by Joseph Carlin & Christian Okeefe and shot by Transfixion Films. Kyle Bent – born in Jamaica but raised outside Boston since the age of 2 – has been honing his freestyle and songwriting skills since the 3rd grade. At the time, the now 19-year old was a fan of Ludacris, Andre 3000, and Lil Wayne, but until a friend introduced him to the art of rapping it did not occur to him to try it himself. It wasn’t long before Kyle was recording rap records in the closet of his parent’s home.
Ultimately, as an artist, Kyle Bent wants to transcend all boundaries and stigmas that surrounded rap music. His focus is to pen lyrics that impact the listener.
