In a world where our every move is tracked and broadcasted on social media, Tujamo’s new video tackles this issue, in an unusual way and with an amusing twist. Leading from the front with its super-futuristic cover artwork, the music video follows one man on an evening almost as steamy as Tujamo’s new song One on One. It’s not long before the viewer realises that they are, in fact, the protagonist; as depicted by a girl removing her VR goggles in a restaurant. Watch here
Following previous high-profile collaborations with Danny Avila, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Solveig and many more, Tujamo shows that he has learnt from the best. In addition to playing at some of the world’s biggest international festivals such as TomorrowWorld in America, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Lollapalooza in Berlin, Creamfields in the UK and many more, Tujamo’s talent of pulling in crowds extends right through to legendary venues such as the prestigious Wynn Resort in Las Vegas.
Now German-born producer Tujamo is drawing from this wealth of knowledge after releasing single One on One, and supporting it visually with a video that boasts views to make you sweat. The video received 1 million views in 24 hours, has now surpassed 2 million views in total and it is obvious why. The conspicuous VHS appeal would make it relatable if we weren’t so envious of the date’s setting. Tujamo cleverly eludes to the problem our society could have with virtual reality, where a generation has an explicit lack of social interaction and inability to draw the line.
One thing Tujamo does prove is that sometimes the best relations, start somewhere on a beach, in this sexual, yet socially relevant video. But maybe we’re less One on One than we thought?
One on One is available now via Universal/Spinnin’.
