Toronto Artist CHARSOLI Announces New Release of Debut EP To Fruition

Up-and-coming singer, songwriter, and producer CHARSOLI will be premiering her debut EP To Fruition on August 18th, 2017. The EP will be available for purchase and streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play, and other music services.

CHARSOLI previously released her debut single LIT in 2016 in collaboration with fellow Toronto artist Chris Gold. The laid-back, sensual tone of the track sets the mood and prepares the listener for her forthcoming EP, To Fruition.

“On the surface, To Fruition is a story about love, loss, and the aftermath.” CHARSOLI says about her debut EP. “What underlies To Fruition are lessons on the importance of vulnerability, not only with a partner, but with one’s self. In order to authentically express my perspective, it was important that this project was self-produced and self-written. And so, through the musicality and my body of words, these lived experiences and accompanying lessons are brought to fruition.”

Born and raised in Toronto, CHARSOLI was brought up on an eclectic variety of music played by her father, a local DJ. Classically trained in both piano and vocal from the age of four, CHARSOLI was able to develop her musical skills and gain a greater understanding of how songs are structured. An alumna of Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, she was able to facilitate the progress of her musical identity and expression through a number of live performances. CHARSOLI delved into producing experimental beats around the time she graduated from the University of Toronto, and song-writing naturally followed. This creative development has left CHARSOLI stepping outside of the current musical box, wanting to create a sound print that is an authentic embodiment of who she is, what she needs to express, and what she wants the world to hear.

CHARSOLI’s debut EP To Fruition is a project engulfed with traditional musicality and unconventional production, leaving the listener struggling to identify it within a particular genre while still acknowledging familiar musical elements. To Fruition is a project that is ambiguous, introspective, and is something that will keep music lovers wondering what her sound will evolve into.
